Deaths in the Clermont, Florida area from 1999 through March 2008

Pastfinders started collecting local obituaries in 1989 and they are filed in the wooden filing cabinet just outside the Genealogy Room of the Cooper Memorial Library. Starting in 1999 the index cards were computerized and the following is an index of those deaths indicating name, age, date of death and newspaper where found. Deaths are included through April of 2005. Most of them are from the South Lake Press (SLP). Click on the letter in the index below to go to that section of the alphabet. Updated 16 May 2008 to include deaths through March of 2008. The South Lake Press now has mostly Death Notices without obituaries but the News Leader (NL) does have obituaries.
