The Family History Center of
the LDS Church serving the Clermont/ Groveland area is
open Tues from 10 to 12, and Tues. and Wed from 6:30 to
8:30PM and on Sat from 9 AM to 1 PM. You may call the Center
at 242-6363 or Mr. Mason at 241-4261. (Note the change in hours)
The Clermont Family History Center now has
several new CD packages that are well worth trying out.

The 1880 U.S. Census is a dream to work with.
You can search the whole country for a name or search
just a region or county or town. You can find all of a
given surname living in a State, County or Town. Select
someone from the list and find each person living in the
household and their relationship to the HEAD.
In addition, the center has
- The accellerated Index System
- Over 200 fiche
- Over 150 permanent files
- Access to all Salt Lake City has that's
not copyrighted
- Pedigree Resource File Disks 1 through
60.

Make a list of all those ancestors that fit
into one or more of the above categories and then go to
the Center just off of Rt 50 west of Clermont. Take a
right onto Green Valley and it's the first right. Enter
the door in back by the handicapped parking. Ring the
bell if the door is locked.
