Heritage Museums
Several years ago, the EHHS and the local chapter of the Association for Childhood Education cooperated in the establishment of a museum facility to be housed in the 1914 PCHS Community Center. The displays show items of Plant City's development, school memorabilia, vintage clothing, antique furniture and household items, agricultural equipment, antique cameras and photographs, historic medical items, and railroad memorabilia. The building is a destination for anyone interested in historic preservation, architecture and adaptive reuse of an old school building. The Pioneer Heritage Museums are staffed entirely by volunteers. To schedule a group event or tour, please contact the offices of the EHHS.
