This picture was taken in New York about 1852 after she married Samuel P. Woodward, and before the family moved from Suffolk County Long Island to Mason County Illinois . She was born about 1831 and died after the birth of her second child in 1858. Writing on the back of the picture says that she is the mother of Nellie Woodward McDowell and Helen Woodward Case. This was a helpful clue for the genealogy research of Sally Wepfer, her great-great granddaughter.
