Submitted by member: (Dottie Smiley) This picture is of John Caldwell and his bride to be, Mary Ann Chapman. John arrived in the United States in June 1865 with Mary Ann coming alone two months later. John came to West Warren, Massachusetts, to work in the cotton mills having been a weaver in Renfrewshire, Scotland. Together they had 11 children, 8 of whom reached adulthood.
