Pioneer Certification
The deadline has passed and our Florida Pioneer Program for
2005 has closed. All applications Certificates have been submitted and
reviewed.
Our Review Teams are wrapping up the final paperwork and
congratulating those Applicants who were approved. There are Applicants who
applied for only one certificate and those that applied for several at once.
Those Applicants approved will be receiving their Certificates in November at
the FSGS Annual Conference Pioneer Banquet on Friday, November 11, 2005 in
Panama City Beach, FL. We will be awarding certificates for State, County,
Researcher and Memorial applicants. It is an exciting event and we hope to see
you there, so be sure to send in your registration.
If you are one of the Applicants approved, then we say well
done and be sure to bring your family to see you accept your Certificate(s). If
you are still working on your application, the deadline for submissions for 2006
is June 30th.
Each year, our reviewers learn more about Florida and the
people who made our history. It is important to note that our Pioneer Committee
is a totally volunteer group and we would like to thank our committee.
