The Florida State Genealogical Society Nominating Committee is preparing a slate of officers and trustees for the 2006-2007 term.  According to the bylaws, this slate must be presented to the Board of Directors two months prior to the annual meeting, or September 11th.  There will be two trustee positions open.

Pioneer Certification Address Change 
In an effort to reduce costs, the FSGS Pioneer Committee will be changing the Post Office Box address used to submit Pioneer Applications.  We currently have a separate PO Box for Pioneer Applications in Cocoa, FL, but we will be changing to the FSGS PO Box address in Tallahassee.  This change will be effective immediately, but we will not close the old Cocoa, FL box until the end of 2005 to make sure that all Pioneer Applications are received.
