We are the founding membership of the Southwest Florida Pioneers Historical Society. Each of us has roots in early Lee County and has an abiding interest
in preserving the importance of the contributions made by our pioneer ancestors.

We are pleased to assume ownership of the Lee County website and encourage you to get involved. We value your participation. Welcome aboard!

Mission Statement

The Southwest Florida Pioneers Historical Society is a non-profit organization comprised of volunteers working to create an online center for genealogical research pertaining to Lee County Florida. The purpose of this organization shall be to gather and share genealogical and historical information at no charge via the internet .This shall be accomplished by creating a website which will be the central repository of historical and genealogical research data which will be donated either by the website coordinator(s) and/or other contributors. The Society will provide a Speaker's Bureau to interested parties and will implement a tombstone replacement project in the future.
