Welcome

To the Tallahassee Genealogical Society's web page!

Our Mission: This society is organized for the purposes of literary and educational work in the field of genealogy and related fields; to preserve and perpetuate the records of our ancestors; to encourage the study of family histories and genealogies; and to pool our knowledge and interests to aid individual members of the society and of the public in the compilation of their genealogies.

Becoming a member of TGS will help you gain more enjoyment from your favorite past time. It also places you among a group of genealogists that came together over twenty years ago to promote the accuracy of recording family histories and the fun in finding past generations! We cordially invite you to become a member.
