Dr. Oldson will speak on
the goals of the Institute on World War II and the Human Experience
stressing Eastern Europe and the Holocaust. The Institute
collections are rather varied and include one from a Holocaust
survivor that is quite unique - several boxes of family records
donated cover the period from the French Revolution to the results
of World War II. His research focuses on Romanian nationalism as
well as its impact on encouraging that country's enthusiastic
participation on the Nazi side in the invasion of the Soviet Union
and the Holocaust. |
