The veterans’ graves registration of 1940-41 gives locating directions:
From Court House in Crawfordville, proceed south on State Road #110, (U.S. #319) to”Y”. Then continue on said #110 for 5/10 mile beyond said “Y”. Then turn right on dirt road going 3/4 mile to cemetery on left.
That direction indicates a location ¾ mile west of present-day US 98 and ½ mile south of the south “Y” at Medart. It probably indicates a location along either Carraway Cutoff or Boykin Rd. No evident gravesite is presently reported near either road.
