Little Pine Barren Cemetery

The Little Pine Barren Cemetery is located in Pine Barren on the east side of US29, on the north side of Pine Barren Creek. There are many, many unmarked graves and unreadable tomes in the cemetery. The first Burial was in 1826. There were 182 graves in March 1985. The point of contact at that time was Jackie McCaskill, (850) 587-2358.

The Little Pine Barren Cemetery was surveyed in March 1985 by Evan Strohl, Erin Callaway, and other members of the West Florida Genealogical Society (WFGS) and published in Volume 2, Cemeteries of Escambia County, Fla. It was transcribed from this publication and contributed to the Escambia County USGenWeb site by WFGS member and former webmaster, Ginny Deagan, with permission of the WFGS Board of Directors.

If you have corrections or additions to the Little Pine Barren Cemetery, please contact Evan Strohl, WFGS Cemetery Committee Chairman, or the Webmaster.
