The Probate Court holds records of marriages
and estate records of deceased residents.
The records are available for public inspection in our offices
during regular business hours:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, excluding holidays.
Charge is $.25/page for uncertified copies of public records.
If a request is made that a staff person must research our records
to determine whether we have a marriage license or estate proceedings
on an individual, there is a research fee of $5.00 per name or estate.

The documents that are filed in the Clerk's office deal with
property records, divorce records, civil and criminal
filings.
As a rule, unless there is a specific document that you are trying to
find, they prefer that you first visit the Washington Memorial Library
to look for your item.
When you have located the information for a specific document that may be
located in the clerk's office, you may request the document,
including names and approximate dates, and send $10.00
(money order or cashier's check) to:
