JANE JOHNSON From the Brunswick Advertiser, 12 Dec 1877: Death of an aged lady. The little village of Waynesville was saddened on the 4th Inst by the announcement of the death of Miss Jane Johnson, an amiable Christian lady of that place. She died on her 90th birthday. The lady was a sister of Mrs. McNish, the mother of Mrs. Leighton W. Hazlehurst of Waynesville. In her death the community has lost a worthy member and the church a warm supporter, but she had gained her crown.
