Jasper Newton Raulerson was born September 27, 1836 and died March 04, 1920 .  Jasper was the son of Russell and Lydia (Waldron) Raulerson in Pierce County .  Jasper married (1) Frances Thornton, daughter of George and Mary (Moody) Thornton.  Frances was born February 28, 1835 .  He married (2) Irene Knight, born February 15, 1835 .  Jasper , Frances and Irene are buried in Raulerson Cemetery in Pierce County .

 Jasper Newton Raulerson enlisted into the Confederate Army on March 2, 1862, and rose to the rank of Corporal in Company E, 22nd Georgia Heavy Artillery.  He was a prisoner of war, and was  paroled and separated from service on May 25, 1865 at Thomasville, Ga.

1)      Raiford McCoy, b. November 24, 1859

2)      Frances Rhoda Ann, b. July 31, 1861 d. December 10, 1927, married James P. Griffin son of James Griffin, CSA, and Georgia Isabelle (Jones) Griffin, December 25, 1881, Pierce County. He was born November 01, 1854 , died April 06, 1927 .  They are buried in New Hope Cemetery , Hickox Community in Brantley County , Georgia .

3)      John F., born March 22, 1863

4)      Thomas J., born July 13, 1864

5)      Matilda, born January 05, 1867, married John M. Moody, March 27, 1898, Pierce County, Georgia, John was born May 29, 1853 and died April 19, 1929; Matilda and John are buried in Raulerson Cemetery .

6)      Lydia E., born November 21, 1868; married Culpepper, born abt 1860

7)      Ann W., born March 03, 1871, married John H. Raulerson, December 25, 1895, Pierce County ; born 1875; died 1950. Ann and John are buried in Raulerson Cemetery .

8)      Elma, born September 09, 1872.

9)      Carrie L., born October 03, 1875; died May 31, 1938; married William M. “Bill” Lynn, April 07, 1901, Pierce County; born November 06, 1869; died May 22, 1934.  Carrie and William are buried in Raulerson Cemetery, Pierce County .

10)   Addie, born November 27, 1878, married Tanner; born abt 1860.
