Jasper Newton
Raulerson enlisted into the Confederate Army on March 2, 1862, and rose to the
rank of Corporal in Company E, 22nd Georgia Heavy Artillery. He was a
prisoner of war, and was paroled and separated from service on May 25,
1865 at Thomasville, Ga.
