J. R. Carmichael, Adm Order to Sell Land

August Term 1894
At the regular August Term August 6, 1894 of the Court of Ordinary the
application of J. R. Carmichael administrator of B. C. Kinard, deceased, to sell
the lands belonging to the estate of the said B. C. Kinard, deceased, came on
for a hearing, and notice of said application, having been published as required
by law, and no objections being filed to the granting of said application, and
it appearing that it is necessary for the purpose of paying the debts and making
distribution among the heirs of said deceased, that said lands be sold.
It is hereby ordered that leave be granted J. R. Carmichael administrator of
said deceased, to sell the lands belonging to said estate, lying in said county
consisting of one lot containing 10 acres on which grist mill is situated, being
part of lots numbers 210 and 211; 144 acres upon which is the residence of the
late B. C. Kinard, being part of lot number 210 less 5 acres on which his
storehouse and dwelling of Davis Kinard. Seventy-five (75) acres known as the
Witt Wise place; 137 acres, known as the Tom Wise place. Two hundred (200) acres
more or less on east side of Towaliga River adjoining lands of J. M. C. Thaxton,
and known as the Dolphin Lindsey land; 100 acres known as the W. C. Kinard
place, situated near the mill, being east of the Ridgeway land, bought of J. B.
Evans, executor, of said Ridgeway; 100 acres more or less known as the Penifoy
place; 100 ¼ acres more or less, known as the Bennett Ridgeway place; 302 acres,
bought of the Ridgeway estate, lies west of Susannah Foster, also one parcel
lying east side of the dwelling house and along the west side of Towaliga River
containing about 30 acres. Three hundred-ten (310) acres adjoining J. G. Colwell
and J. H. Ridgeway.
