Bowen Family Cemetery

This family cemetery is located in the Quinn's Ridge Subdivision on East County Line Road (Land Lot 898). There is only one grave, that of Theresa Bowen who died November 7, 1862 while her husband Caleb Bowen was away in Confederate service. Mrs. Bowen was the daughter of Hiram and Charity Blackwell. She and Caleb Bowen were married April 8, 1848 and had two daughters, Helen (McGouirk) and Margaret (Bomar). Mr. Bowen was subsequently buried in Douglasville City Cemetery.
