My name is Richard Pettys , and I am the Regional Coordinator for the Coastal Georgia Region of the GAGenWeb Project. I am here to help, and I can't help you unless I know you need help. Please feel free to let me know if you need help, whether you are one of my team members with an html question or whether you are a visitor to our site. No request is too small, and no need is too big. If it matters to you, then it matters to me. Please remember to contact me with good things, too. I would love to know that one of our sites helped you find that elusive relative that you have been searching for for the last seven years or that one of my teammates was able to provide you with information that you needed and didn't have.

We are always looking for an extra set of hands. If you can help transcribe information whether it is a census or a cemetery or a marriage listing, we will gladly accept your help and even give you credit for your work! Please contact me or one of my teammates below if you can help!

The Great State of Georgia was founded at Savannah, Georgia, and her colonial history is primarily within the Coastal Region. We have taken the liberty of creating several pages which will help tell the story of Colonial Georgia and Coastal Georgia from the days of the Native Americans through today. Please join us in learning about the rich history of the Coastal Region of the State of Georgia.
