Lester Cemetery
Directions: From the Loop 10 overpass on the Atlanta Highway (Hwy. 78/29), proceed 8/10
mile west on the Atlanta Highway to Cleveland Road. Turn north (right) onto Cleveland
Road, travel ½ miles, and cross railroad tracks. Just after crossing tracks, turn right
onto paved private driveway. Cemetery is located behind 840 Cleveland Road, up the hill in
field.
Restoration and erection of the enclosure was made by Henry Lester with donations of
labor and money from descendents, 1980-1.

Stone markers, enclosed in a heavy wrought iron
fence, one side has been removed. It is believed, but not yet proven, that Lewis Lester
& his wife Elizabeth
Patman Lester are buried there. We do not know, at this time, who is buried in the
other grave. |
