How
do I find contact information for local legal records like birth and death certificates?
Go to our Links page under the County resources section.
A good place to start is with our Family Trees section. If you can't find a connection there, post a query and perhaps one of our volunteers will have just what you need.
We gladly accept your contributions and we will be sure to place your name as
the donor and researcher. The only request we make is that you
not have any living people recorded on your contributions and
that it be solely your work and if you have used the work of others
that you cite them properly for their research.
Beckie Watson - descended from the families of Lord, Rogers, Haddock, Ireland,
Zachary. Connecting families include Glore, Gober, Strickland,
Chandler, Hamby.
We will take Family Trees with no living persons listed in any format (.pdf,
.doc, .rtf), pictures of your ancestors (again no living persons),
pictures of historical sites in Cobb County, and any transcriptions
(cemetery, census, obituary, etc.) related to deceased Cobb County
residents.
I've set aside one day a month to add any new information I have received
so if you have sent me something and it is not yet posted, please
be patient with me. I haven't forgotten about your contribution!!
