Mr. George Irving Anderson, 63, of Douglas, Ga., passed away early Tuesday morning, April 6, 2004, at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Anderson, a native of Columbus, Ohio, was the son of the late Charles Anderson and the late Jaunita Wallace Anderson.
He was a retired truck driver, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, and attended Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Adams Anderson of Douglas, Ga.; two sons, Chris Anderson of Daytona Beach, Fla., and George Anderson, Jr., of Holly Hill, Fla.; one step-daughter, Jami Burch of Douglas, Ga.; one step-son, James Adams of West Green, Ga.; one brother, Douglas Anderson of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; one sister, Betty Fisher of Pahokee, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Ricketson Funeral Home of Douglas, Ga., is in charge of the arrangements.
