Funeral services were held this afternoon from the First Methodist Church of Douglas for Mrs. H. F. Brown who passed away late Monday at the Douglas Coffee County Hospital following an extended illness.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. English Byrd, Mrs. N. R. Dixon and Miss Ardis Brown, Douglas, and eight grandchildren.
The Rev. Frank L. Robertson was the officiating minister and special music was furnished by Carlos Grantham, Gordon Davis, Hal Beall and Glenn Tanner, accompanied by Newton Tyson.
Pallbearers were Billy Peters, Brady Phillips,, Pleasant Jower, Jr. Cecil Boggan, and Denzel Lott. Interment was in New Hope Cemetery with Sims Funeral Home in charge.
