Charleen Capps, age 77, of Nicholls passed away early
Tuesday afternoon, October 12, 2004 in the Bacon
County Hospital after an extended illness.
She was a native of Ware County. She was daughter of
the late Charles (C.D.) Wesley Moore and Lucy Kirkland
Moore.
Charleen was preceded in death by her husband,
Vilace Capps; a son, Charles Capps and a brother,
Elias Moore.
She was a member of Salem Congregational
Methodist Church.
Survivors include one brother, Charles D. Moore of
Nicholls and two sisters, Joy Jackson of Nicholls and
Faye Beverly of Waycross. Also four nephews and two
nieces survive.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2
p.m. at Salem Congregational Methodist Church with
Rev. Troy Turner officiating. Interment followed in
Moore Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Floyd W. Jackson, John Raymond
Jackson, Ronnie Beverly, Albert Beverly and John and
Johnathan Banach.
Crosby Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
