WILLIAM R. COLE AGE 86, DIED THURSDAY A.M.

Douglas people were shocked to hear of the sudden death of Mr. William Richardson Cole, age 86, who died at his home near Nicholls Thursday morning. Mr. Cole had been in moderate health for a man of his age and his sudden death was wholly unsuspected.
Mr. Cole is survived by three sons, Mr. L. B. Cole, Mr. L. S. Cole, and Mr. Walton Cole, all of Nicholls, also four daughters, Mrs. S. F. McKinnon, of Douglas, Mrs. L. M. Dubberly, of Nicholls, Mrs. Nettie Meeks, of Nicholls, and Mrs. Francis Williams, of Tampa, Fla., besides several grandchildren. Mr. Milton Cole of this city is one of the grandsons.
The Douglas Undertaking Company of this city are in charge and funeral will be held tomorrow, Friday, morning at 10:30 at the residence of the deceased, with Rev. W. H. Tomblinson in charge, and burial will take place at the Cole cemetery.
Mr. Cole has lived in this section of the state for many years where he reared his family, and has many friends who will regret to hear of his passing.
