Mrs Nica Ann Waters Cribb

Mrs. Nica Ann Cribb, 78, died at her home in Nicholls last Saturday after an illness of several years.
Funeral services were held on Monday morning at Elam church near Nicholls with Rev. Lester Cole officiating. Interment was in the Meeks cemetery.
Mrs. Cribb was the daughter of Washington Wayne "Major" Waters and his 1st wife Dora Waldron Waters. Besides her husband, James Warren Cribb of Nicholls, Mrs. Cribb is survived by two sons, James M. Cribb of Nicholls, and Harvey Cribb of Waycross; five daughters, Mrs. Sheba (Harrison) Davis, Mrs. Cora Griffin, Mrs. Eula (Albert T.) Tanner and Mrs. Ruby (Elijah M.) Davis, all of Nicholls, and Mrs. Ora Lee (Clarence H.) Cason of Douglas; one brother, Quarterman S. Waters, of Waycross; three half-brothers, David, Elmo, and George Waters, all of Waycross; one sister, Mrs. Janie (Jesse) Stone of Waycross; four half-sisters, Mrs. Katie (Joe) Jordan, Mrs. Roxie (Jesse) Deen, Mrs. Frances (John) Sweat, and Mrs. Annie (Daniel) Spell all of Waycross, twenty-two grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
