J. A. Daughtery Died Last Week We have just learned of the death of Mr. J. A. Daughtery, who died last week at his home on the Baker Highway, after several months of illness. He was about 70 years old, and married Miss Amanda Vickers, daughter of the late Henry Vickers. They had an adopted daughter, who is now married. Mr. Daughtery lived in this city for many years several years ago. He was at one time city marshall of Douglas. The deceased lived a very quiet life, attending to his own business, and had cemented to him during all the years hundreds of friends who will grieve to learn of his death. He was a member of the Methodist church and remained loyal during all the years.
