Last Rites for Mrs. Daughtry
Funeral services were held on Thursday at Hebron Church for Mrs. Amanda Vickers Daughtry who died at her residence on Madison Ave. Wednesday, April 15.
Rev. Henry Sears and Rev. Hancil Sears officiated.
Her parents were the late Henry and Ellen Sears Vickers and she was married to Joe Daughtry who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. P. A. Walker, Miami; sister, Mrs. Lestie Dorminey, Douglas; granddaughter, Mrs. Ellen Hutcheson, Douglas, and grandson, James L. Workman of Kensha, Wis..
Pallbearers were Elmer Grantham, Stanton Dorminey, Chester Dorminey, Doc Solomon, Earl Meeks, and George McCranie.
Douglas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
