Mr. Joe Henry Corbitt

Age 80, of Conway Vickers Road, Ambrose, Ga., passed away Thursday, September 05, 2002 at his home following a short illness. Born October 17, 1921 in Coffee County, Mr. Corbitt was the son of the late Issac and Eva Vickers Corbitt. He was a retired dairyman and mechanic. His wife Pauline Walters Corbitt preceded in death. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Jo Ann Wolfert of Ambrose, Ga., and Priscella Danzig of Eastman, Penn.; 3 brothers, Vickers Corbitt of Jacksonville, Fla., Marshall Corbitt of Mora, Ga., and Arthur Corbitt of Mora, Ga.; 3 sisters, Carlue Dowd of Vidalia, Ga., Essie Mae Wilson of Vidalia, Ga., and Eva Dell Turman of Brunswick, Ga.; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside funeral services and interment for Mr. Corbitt were held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 06, 2002 at the Willacoochee City Cemetery with Rev. Ed Sidel officiating. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga., was in charge of arrangements.
