Next OWENS BROWN   KETCHERSIDE
In the 1840 census of Dade County, Georgia there is listed a MARY BROWN
as head of her household with several children. In the 1850 census of
Dade County, Georgia, JAMES KETCHERSIDE is listed as the head of
household with MARY, who was the MARY BROWN from the 1840 census. The
1850 census says that Mary and James Ketcherside were married within the
year, that may be incorrect as they did have children together, prior to
that time. One of their children was ENOCH BLACKBURN KETCHERSIDE born
September 7, 1846 in Trenton, Dade County, GA. Another was NANCY JANE
KETCHERSIDE who was born December 26, 1844 in Trenton, Dade County, GA.
I would like to find out who the first husband of 'Mary' was with the
surname of 'BROWN'. Some of the Brown children were born in Tennessee.
Some of the children's names were: ANDREW BROWN, JOHN W. BROWN, and JAMES
BROWN. I am not sure if NANCY JANE KETCHERSIDE was a Ketcherside or a
BROWN. Would like to make contact with anyone researching these lines.
Thanks!
