PETTYJOHN   ROUSE   SILLS
Researching the PETTYJOHN and SILLS that are buried in Hooker/Wildwood.
My great grandfather James Harry SILLS was buried in Magill Cemetary in 1939 - not
long ago; but I don't know who his father was. I only know his mother
was named Katherine (Katie), she died in a flood in Chattanooga when
James Harry SILLS was young.
Jane PETTYJOHN wife of Jake was buried in Magill Cemetary in 1911/1912.
Her daughter Elizabeth A. PETTYJOHN ROUSE was buried in the same cemetary
but earlier than Jane. That is all I know about these people. Elizabeth
A. PETTYJOHN born in GA in 1844 mar _______ ROUSE from GA. He died in TX
around 1880/81. Their daughter Melissa Sue ROUSE was born in 1880 in TN.
Melissa mar James Harry SILLS in 1875. Melissa is buried in Chattanooga,
her father had been mar before. Does anyone know how to contact the Magill
Cemetary in Hooker? They may have some records on these people. I would enjoy
hearing from anyone about these families.Georgia Mathis Cummons
