HAZELWOOD   WILSON

I'm looking for someone for a friend. Mary Wilson and John Henry Hazelwood were married in Hamilton Co., TN in 1880. Mary's death certificate lists him as surviving her and as the informant. Her obituary, 01 June 1917 in the Chattanooga newspaper does not mention him, only 5 brothers and 4 sisters. The death cert. says she was buried in Chattanooga in a cemetery that does not list her in its records. The obit lists her as buried in Forrest Hills Cemetery, which I cannot find. I cannot find them in any census for TN, with the possible exception of 1880. A Mary Wilson working as a servant would be the correct age. Both the death cert. and obit list her home as being in Hamilton Co., TN, but I can find no record of them at the address given. I felt perhaps they were from across the state line and that she had been staying with friends when she died. The person I am doing this for believes there is a relationship with Woodrow Wilson and I am aware that he has GA ties. Any clues appreciated. Jim Havron   Apr 8, 2001
