James R. Almond was born Oct 8, 1906 in D.C. (I assume DeKalb County where all of the children were born).
Sarah Kate Almond was born July 20, 1909.
S. Howard Almond was born Feb 20, 1912. (The S is for Schley.)
*While I have used the spelling Almond in the transcription, it is entirely possible that it was spelled as Almand. On records from my mother, Sarah Kate, the spelling was Almond.
On another inside page, the following information appears:
Sarah N Almond was born August the 30th, 1809. (Per my research - Sarah N Sherman)
Isac (as spelled in the bible) Almond was born January 17, 1854.
In my research, I believe that she is the second wife of Isaac Almond (born 20 Jun 1796 and died 14 Oct 1873) and this is their only child. His first wife was Elizabeth Fortson (born 25 Dec 1802 and died 13 Jan 1849) and Calvin Rubertus Almond (1830) was their son.
Information transcribed by Annette Marie Wade, great granddaughter of Calvin Rubertus Almond (1830) and submitted to the EGGS for publication in 2008.
