I William Freeman of the state & county aforsaid, being weak in body but of sound mind & disposing memory do make this my last will & Testament.
Item 1st I give my body to the grave & my spirit to God who gave it.
2nd I give to my beloved wife Doratha Freeman the tract of land whereon I now live containing two hundred & eighty acres adjoining Moore & others. also one tract of land in Clark County containing two hundred & ten acres adjoining Sheets (not sure about this name) & others. also an interest in a tract of land in the County of Wilks whereon Francis Freeman now lives adjoining Wm. Wooton & others. also one negro girl named Let. also other personal property consisting in horses, cows, hogs, house hold & kitchen furniture & all other property not herein before named or herein after expressly willed to some other person.
3rd It is my will that out of the above named property that all of my Just debts be first paid.
4th I give to my beloved brother John Freeman one tract of land in the 5th District of Dooly County containing two hundred two & 1/2 acres known by No. 170.
5th I give to my beloved brother Joseph Freeman and in the County of Gwinette Containing two hundred two & 1/2 acres in the 7th district & known by No. 298.
6th I give to the present children of my beloved half brother Allen Freeman one tract of land in the County of Hall containing two hundred two & ½ acres in the 11th District known by No. 132.
Item 7th I give to my half brother Allen Freeman one dollar.
Item 8th I give to my beloved half brother George Wesly Freeman one dollar.
Item 9th I give to my beloved brother Henry Freeman one dollar.
Item 10th I give to my beloved half brother Laban Freeman one dollar.
Item 11th I give to my beloved half sister Ailesy Orr one dollar.
Item 12th It is my will that the gifts make from the 7th to the 11th Items in this will be paid out of the legacy left to my beloved wife.
Item 13th I leave my beloved wife Doratha Freeman executrix of this my last will & testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 16th day of August 1824.

Personally appeared in open Court Charles Moore, Francis Moore & John Ellis three of the subscribing witnesses to _(?)_ within will & being duly sworn d_(?)_ & saith that they saw the within named Wm Freeman dec.d sign, seal, publish & declare, this instrument of writing to be his last will & testament & at the time of his so doing he was of sound mind & memory to the best of our knowledge & belief so help us God.
