On June 18th the S.A.L. Railway will put on a special excursion to Savannah and Tybee.  This is the first excursion for this season and no doubt many of the people of Evans will take advantage of the low rates to visit Savannah and the seashore.  The rate from Claxton is $1.60, tickets good returning six days later.
