Services for Barbara Jo Kilgore Anthony, 65, of Silver Creek, Ga., formerly of Cherokee County will be Tuesday at 2 p.m.
at Noah Baptist Church with Tim Dickens and David Sorrow officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Perry
Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anthony died Sunday at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Ga. Survivors include two daughters, Shevella Trapp of Silver
Creek and Teresa Brand of Rome; a sister, Becky Scott of Gadsden; a brother, Jerry Kilgore of Gadsden; and three
grandchildren, Cody Brand, Destin Brand, and Joshua Trapp.
Pallbearers will be Cody Brand, Frankie Anthony, Hayden Scott, Jeff Kilgore, Jimmy New, and Doyce Scott. Honorary
pallbearers will be the administration and staff of Chilo Hills Health Care.
Mrs. Anthony was a native of Cherokee County, was a graduate of Gadsden High School, and was the retired lunchroom cook of
Pepperrell Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Odis Anthony.
