\f1 Mrs. Bernice Luvada Abrams, 78, of 2003 Flannery St., died Saturday afternoon at a Rome hospital after an illness of several months. \par
Mrs. Abrams was born in Crossville, Ala., Jan. 26, 1911, daughter of the late Ellis Reeves Norwood and Della Ann Yates Norwood. She had been a long time resident of Floyd County and was a member of the Pisgah Baptist Church. She was a home maker. \par
Survivors include her husband, Frank Abrams to whom she was married Nov. 4, 1939; two sons, E. V. Ford, Jr. Rome and Bobby Gene Abrams, San Diego, Calif.; two brothers Ellis Reeves Norwood, Jr. Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Eston Norwood, Powder Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Melrose Williamon, Cave Spring, Mrs. Delam Freeman, Dalton and Mrs. Mabel Allen, Rome; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. \par
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Talley Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Childers and the Rev. Ken Johnson offciating. \par
Interment will be at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.\f0
