Coleman Bryan Taken By Death Early Saturday
Services To Be Held This Afternoon For Lifelong Resident of Rome
William Coleman Bryan, 58, died early Saturday after a long illness, at his home on Second Avenue at East Ninth street. He was born and reared in this
city, and was in the employ of J. L. Brannon and Co., for 34 years. His uniform courtesy, unfailing kindness, and strict attention to business won and held
a large circle of friends from all parts of the county.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Valeria Vincent Bryan, whom he married in 1895, and the following children: Edith Bryan, Richard, W. C. Bryan, Jr., all
of Rome, Mrs. H. B. Parks, of Chattanooga, and Mrs. T. A. Lamar of Rome. Also surviving are the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Mary B. Nevin, of
Atlanta; Mrs. W. A. Spraggins, J. D. Bryan and D. C. Bryan, all of Rome.
Funeral services will be conducted at the residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Dr. E. R. Leyburn, pastor of the First Presbyterian church officiating.
Interment will be in Myrtle Hill cemetery.
The following friends will act as pallbearers and meet at the Daniel home at 2:30: Gary J. King, T. B. Owens, Berrien, Chidsey, R. M. Gibson, Hughs T.
Reynolds, and Claude H. Porter.
