ELIZABETH VALERIE VINCENT BRYAN [B: 8/27/1876; D: 7/16/1960]
Mrs. W. C. Bryan Dies Saturday; Rites Set Today
Mrs. W. Coleman Bryan, of 205 E. 8th St. died Saturday at 3:25 a.m. in a local hospital follwing a brief illness.
A member of a distinguished Southern family, she was widely known throughout Georgia and adjoining states.
Mrs. Bryan, the former Elizabeth Vincent, was born in Rome, Aug. 27, 1876, daughter of the late William J. and Eugenia Matthews Vincent.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Rome and was preceded in death by her husband in 1932.
Survivors include two sons, W. C. Bryan of Knoxville, Tenn., and Richard H. Bryan of Rome; and three daughters, Mrs. T. A. Lamar of Rome, Mrs. Herbert B.
Barks of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Mrs. Robert Bachman of Rome. Nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 4 p.m. at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Warren Gaw officiating.
The body will lie in state at Daniel's Funeral Home.
