Rites Tomorrow For Mrs. Wilson
Funeral services for Mrs. Floyce Wilson, who died at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon
at her residence, Rome Route number 1, will be conducted from the Sand Springs
Methodist (should be Baptist) Church Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. The Rev. J. B.
Ward and the Rev. S. H. Pendley will officiate, with interment in the church
cemetery.
Mrs. Wilson, who was 41 years old, had been in declining health for the past
three months. She was born in Floyd County and lived here her entire life. She was
a member of the Armuchee Methodist Church.
Surviving her are her husband, A. C. Wilson; three daughters, Mrs. D. H. Terrell,
Miss Juanita Wilson of Rome Route 1, Mrs. D. T. Davis of Fairgax, GA; her mother,
Mrs. M.C. Green; a sister, Mrs. G.W. Boggs; two brothers, H. C. and M. O. Green, all
of Rome; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will include Carl and Roy Burns, Abner and Ennis Buffington, Cliff
Hicks and Grover Fuller.
