Jack Bryan, 49, of Cave Spring, Dies this Morn

Jack Bryan, 49, former Roman, died this morning at his residence in Cave Spring after an illness of several months from angina pectoris. A native Roman, he resided here until about six years ago, and was well-known in this section.
Mr. Bryan was a member of the First Presbyterian church here. He was formerly a cashier with the old Citizens' bank. His widow is the former Miss Willie Rose McGinnis, of this city.
Surviving him besides his widow are one daughter, Mrs. T. L. Spearman, of Knoxville; a grandson, Allen Spearman; two sisters, Mrs. W. A. Spraggins, of Rome, Mrs. J. B. Nevin, of Atlanta; a brother, J. D. Bryan, of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews in Rome and Atlanta.
Funeral services will be held Sunday morning at 10 o'clock in the chapel of the Emmett Cole funeral home, with interment in Myrtle Hill cemetery. Complete arrangements will be announced later by the Emmett Cole funeral home.

Funeral Service Sunday Morning for Jack Bryan

Funeral services for Jack Bryan, of Cave Spring, will be held Sunday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the chapel of the Emmett Cole Funeral Home. The Rev. Augustus Tilly will officiate, assisted by Rev. John Melton. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will include A.J. Casey, Sr., Bob Tilly, Green Barker, Dr. J. C. Conner, J. Scott Davis and T.G. Austin.
Active pallbearers, who are asked to meet at the Emmett Cole chapel at 10:15 o'clock, will include Tip Asbury, Josh Tumlin, Ed Ritch, Sam Albea, Denver Flemming and Roger Asbury.
Mr. Bryan, who is a native Roman and resided here until about six years ago when he moved to Cave Spring, died Thursday morning at his residence in Cave Spring. He was well-known in this section.
Surviving him are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. T. L. Spearman, of Knoxville, Ten.; a grandson, Allen Spearman; two sisters, Mrs. W. A. Spraggins, of Rome, Mrs. J. B. Nevin, of Atlanta; a brother, J. D. Bryan, of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
