Mr. J. C. Flood, better known as Jake, 58, of 806 Sheridan Ave., died Saturday night at 11:10 at his residence. He is
survived by his wife, Mrs. Lina Flood of Dalton; two daughters, Mrs. Faye Patterson and Mrs. Connie Winstead, both of Dalton;
four brothers, Frank, Sam and Carl Flood all of Chatsworth and J. H. Flood of Dalton; three half-brothers, Allen, Herschel and
Albert Flood all of Summerville; step-mother, Mrs. Willie Flood of Summerville; one half-sister, Mrs. Rosa Stokes of Marietta.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Ellis Chastain, Rev. Bill
Chastain and Rev. Howard Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Love Funeral Home in charge.
