Mrs. J. W. Proctor Dies: Funeral Today
Mrs. J. W. Proctor, 77 years of age, died at the residence of her son, C. E. Proctor, near Rome, this morning at 3 o'clock, after a long illness. She had
been a devoted member of the Baptist Church for sixty years.
Mrs. Proctor is survived by the following children: C. E., E. L. H. G. Proctor, Mrs. P. G. Griffies and Mrs. J. C. Allen all of Rome; one brother, T. M.
Drummond, of Chattanooga, and a sister, Mrs. George Dempsey, of Bartow County.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from Mispah Church. Rev. A. B. Elizer conducted the services.
Interment in adjoining cemetery. Daniel Company, morticians, were in charge of arrangements.
