Moses A. Aycock
Funeral services for Moses A. Aycock, 77, 205 Oostanaula Dr., who died Saturday
morning in a Rome hospital, were held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of the Stevens-
Davenport Funeral Home with the Rev. Arnold Mount and the Rev. Glenn Boatner
officiating. Interment was in East View Cemetery.
Mr. Aycock was born in Floyd County on Jan. 29, 1889, son of the late Richard C.
(M.) and Susan Brooks Aycock. He had spent his entire life in Rome and Floyd County
and prior to his retirement was an electrician and a former employee of the City of
Rome. He was a Mason, a member of the Royal Arch, the Knights Templar and the
Constellation Chapter of the Eastern Star. He was a member of the Low 12 Club and
the Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church.
Stevens-Davenport Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
