\f1 Death of B. J. Alexander\f0

\f1 Mr. B. J. Alexander, aged 83 years, died at his home here Friday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock, after a long illness. \par
Mr. Alexander was born in South Carolina in 1834 and had been a resident of Floyd County many years. Surviving him are his wife, three sons and five daughters. They are B. T., D. F., a nd C. L. Alexander of Rome and Mrs. Pearl Being (Bing), Mrs. Laura B. Clinton, Mrs. Ida Beaver, Mrs. Lillie Holbrooks and Miss Susie Alexander, all of Floyd county. There are two brothers, William and C. E. Alexander, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Huffsteller, Mrs. Nancy Smith and Mrs. Mandy Bruce, who reside near Cartersville. \par
The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. E. R. Nelson at Spring Creek Baptist Church Sunday morning at 11 o'clock. \par
Interment will bein the adjoining cemetery.\f0
