\par \f1 Mrs. Fricks Passes; Funeral Thursday\f0

\par \cf1\f1 \cf0 Mrs. Mattie Fricks, age 63, of 8 West First Street, passed away at her residence at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. She had been in ill health for several years and her condition became serious three weeks ago.
\par Born in Bartow County on December 4, 1891, Mrs. Fricks was the daughter of the late Samuel and Seney Callaway Satcher, and was married to Arthur Fricks, who preceded her in death in May of 1936. Mrs. Fricks resided in the Spring Creek Community until three months ago, when she moved to Lindale. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
\par Surviving are one son, Robert Fricks, of Lindale; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Violet Guest, of Toccoa, and Mrs. Liah (Leah) Rebecca Forsyth, of Kingston, sisters, Mrs. Pearlie Fricks, of Rome, Mrs. Cary Branton, of Kingston, Mrs. Ethel Freeman, of Rome, Mrs. Allie Ledbetter, of Thomaston, and Mrs. Lollie Bozeman of Rome Route 5; and six grandchilden. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Satcher, in December of 1953.
\par Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Macedonia Baptist Church, with the Rev. Howard Holcomb and the Rev. W. P. Cronan officiating. \par Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery.
\par Nephews will serve as pallbearers, and include Sammy Fricks, Joe Branton, Lewis Branton, Earl Bozeman, Arthur Sather, Jr. and Elmer Freeman.
\par The remains will rest at the residence, 8 West First Street, until time for the services, and pallbearers are asked to meet there at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
