\f1 Funeral Services For Mrs. Young Scheduled Today\f0

\f1 Mrs. Mary Hyde Young , 71, died at her residence, 16 Hill Street, at 11 p.m. Friday following a three weeks illness. \par
She was born in Cherokee County, GA Sept. 29, 1880, the daughter of the late Tanty and Annie Cagle Hyde. She had resided in Floyd County for 18 years, coming here from Bartow. Mrs. Young was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. \par
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Young, Feb. 10, 1949. Surviving are two sons, Coleman and Robert Young, both of Rome, two daughters, Mrs. Forrest Lanham, of Rome, and Mrs. J. L.Lanham of Atlanta.Ten grand- children and ten great grandchildren also survive. \par
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today at the Mizpah Methodist Church with the Rev. W. O. Denson, the Rev. Willard Willis and the Rev. Clyde Lee officiating. \par
Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state at the residence until time for the service.\par
