Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Ed Ellis
Funeral services for Mrs. Ed Ellis, of 101 Reservoir Street, who passed away Sunday afternoon in a Rome hospital, were
held this morning in the Lindale Baptist Church. Officiating were the Rev. B.L. Bond, Pastor, the Rev. S.H. Pendley, Pastor
of the Tubize Baptist Church and the Rev. Russell Head, Pastor of the Hollywood Baptist Church. Burial took place in Bush
Arbor Cemetery.
Mrs. Ellis was born in Floyd County on February 9, 1905, and had been a resident of the Lindale community for 10 years.
She was a member of the Rehoboth Baptist Church of Cave Spring. The former Miss Inez Green, she was married to Mr. Ellis on
December 24, 1925.
