Services Set for M. S. Burkett<BR>
<BR>
   Funeral services for Marshall Steven Burkett, veteran of World War II, who died Monday in Veterans' Hospital, Augusta, after long illness, were to be 
held at 4 o'clock this afternoon in the Chapel of the Cole Funeral Home. Captain Robert Moore was to officiate. Burial was to be in the family lot in 
Oakland Cemetery.  A native of Texas, Mr. Burkett moved to Rome in early childhood. He enlisted in the Navy in July, 1942, and served on the West Coast 
until he was discharged in 1943. He was 37 years old.<BR>
