\par \f1 MRS. NANCY SMITH, AGED ROMAN, DIES THURSDAY EVENING\f0

\par \f1 Mrs. Nancy C. Smith, age 88, died at the residence of her son, W.A. Smith, 1920 North Broad street Thursday evening after a long illness. \par Mrs. Smith was an old resident of Rome, but went to Detroit, Mich., about twenty years ago, where she lived until she returned to Rome about one year ago. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and a consistent Christian. \par Surviving her are three sons, W. A. Smith of Rome; Albert Smith of Portland, Ore., and Hugh Smith of Detroit. \par Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Daniel & Son Funeral Home Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. J. H. Couch. Interment will be in Oakland cemetery. \par Pallbearers include Charley Millican, Marion Mathis, Claude Fricks, Gordon Farrer, James Fields and Jake Arnett.\f0
