\par \f1 Norman Clay Wallace, 73, 404 Cave Spring Rd., died Monday morning in a Rome hospital following an illness of several weeks. \par Mr. Wallace was a native of Floyd County. He was born April 28, 1903, son of the late John W. and Ida Lanham Wallace. He was a member of South Broad United Methodist Church. \par Survivors include his widow, the former Ophelia Erwin to whom he was married July 31, 1922; one daughter, Mrs. John S. Gaines, Sr., Rome; two grandsons and two great grandsons. \par Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Daniel's Funeral Home with the Rev. william Irwin officiating. \par Interment will be in Eat View Cemetery. \par Pallbearers include Bill Parsons, Willie Reese, Brennen Packer, Bob Brown, B. C. Akins and Arnold Perry. \par The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.\f0
